As the world at large pivots to large-scale AI integration, Microsoft has shown yet again why they remain at the forefront of AI-centric technological advancements. Recently, the tech giant announced plans to bring centralized AI assistance to PCs at large. Yep, you guessed it. The heavily speculated Windows Copilot is finally here!
Alongside Bing Chat, as well as other integrations, Microsoft plans to revitalize the way users interact with their computers. Thus, opening up possibilities for improved productivity and streamlined operational processes. From planning a trip to see your relatives in Maldives to refining an email or text, Windows Copilot promises to deliver an all-in-one experience.
As explained by Panos Panay, Chief Product Officer, Windows and Devices, âAI is the defining technology of our time, and developers are at the forefront of this transformation. With the right tools, we can empower developers and our shared customers to shape the future and leave their mark on the world.â

Relax! No oneâor AIâis taking your jobâŠyet đ. A couple of days ago, California-based AI startup, Figure, completed its first external funding round, raising about $70 million.
Powered by Parkway Venture Capital, alongside a $20 million investment from the founder and CEO, Brett Adcock, Figure plans to use this cash injection to foster the development of the companyâs premier autonomous humanoidâyep, its AI-powered robot.
The companyâs overall goal is to develop many general-purpose robots that could be implemented in various environments and use cases. Adcock expressed this ideology elegantly.
In his words, âWe believe general-purpose humanoid robots have far more potential than single-purpose robots. The deployment into the workforce can help address labor shortages and over time lead the way in eliminating the need for unsafe and undesirable jobs.â

With the release of Ecoute, a transcription tool capable of providing real-time transcripts of multiple audio sources. Now, thatâs pretty basic. So, what exactly does this tool do differently that makes hiring managers so uneasy?
Well, not only is it capable of transcribing both sides of a live conversation, but it can also generate responses for the user to say, leveraging OpenAIâs GPT 3.5.
Think of it as your AI-powered wingman for live interviews. But, as with most AI tools, this one isnât foolproof either. Further, it requires a bit of technical expertise to utilize. So I wouldnât advise you to use this for your next job interviewâthough itâs worth experimenting đ.
Ultimately, the existence of such a tool shows that AI is truly pushing the boundaries of what we thought possible. And although the tool isnât perfect, we canât wait to see what future updates bring to the table.

For your entertainment, this week, take a look at this post by Brooklin Nash, cofounder of Beam Content, which has been making rounds in the content and AI spaces.
He gave a generative AI tool, a content agency, and one of his in-house writers the same prompt, âHow to leverage your internal SMEs for better content.â But, the results may surprise you, and youâd probably not guess whoâor whatâwrote what. Up for a challenge? Have at it!
