ā” The Neural Frontierās weekly picks: 3 AI tools you should be using.
In the last couple of months, no AI-powered tool has gotten the attention of the media like ChatGPT. From GPT-3.5 to the analytical powerhouse that is GPT-4, calling ChatGPT the talk of the town would be an understatement. And in true OpenAI fashion, ChatGPT has made the headlines once again.
Reddit user kocham_psy recently leaked a photo showing a couple of neededāand highly anticipatedāChatGPT updates. The major highlights include:
The ability to create and customize a profile.
A new workspace feature (that could probably foster collaborative effortsš¤).
File uploads (finally š).
The profile feature is arguably one of the most appealing. This allows users to truly personalize their ChatGPT experience by adding information they want ChatGPT to store about themāsuch as preferences. Of course, the file upload feature is pretty nifty, as this has been a heavily-requested update.
And though OpenAI has not confirmed these changes, the mere thought of it is exhilaratingāto say the least.
Yep, you read that right! Fans of the Beatles would be amused, or perhaps slightly scared, by this update. Driven by legendary singer-songwriter Sir James Paul McCartney, plans are now underway to release a final Beatles track featuring the late John Lennon. But how exactly does he plan to pull this off? AI, of course!
In an interview with BBC, McCartney stated that he used AI to āextricateā the late singerās voice from a 1970s tape. Now, most fans speculate that this song will be a reimagining of the 1978 track, Now and Then. And while McCartney didnāt hide the fact that heās a bit worried about the possibilities of AI, he couldnāt deny that it helped him access Lennonās āpure voice.ā
In his words, āItās kind of scary but exciting because itās the future. Weāll just have to see where that leads.ā
But what do you think, folks? Is this AI-powered move a harmless display of nostalgia, or do you think McCartney might be taking things too farš¤?
Where do you stand? |
With a display of astounding confidence in the future of AI, Salesforce joins the long list of tech giants hopping onāand fully backingāthe current AI wave. Recently, the company announced plans to integrate new generative AI features in its product line. In addition, Salesforce took the expression ādouble downā quite literally as they raised their VC fund focused on generative AI from $250 million to $500 million.
Off the back of this fund-driven move, the company hopes to position its new suite of AI-focused toolsādubbed AI Cloudāon par with its more popular offerings, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Ultimately, this shift will mark a new era for Salesforce and other SaaS-centric companies. That, in its entirety, is a pretty exciting proposition.
