Google just dropped Gemini 3, and the company is calling it its biggest leap toward AGI so far. 

This is Google rolling out its next-generation intelligence across Search, the Gemini app, Workspace, developers' tools, and a brand-new agentic platform all on day one.

Gemini 3 Pro has launched across Google products — with a new “Deep Think” mode arriving soon. And the pitch is simple:

Bring any idea to life — learn, build, plan, and act — all in one model. Key capabilities include:

  • Rich multimodal understanding (text, image, video, code, audio)

  • Massive 1M-token context window

  • Major upgrades in creativity, math, and planning

  • The strongest agentic foundation Google has ever shipped

This is Google’s first model designed from the ground up to be a thought partner, not a chatbot.

OpenAI just rolled out one of its most human-centric updates yet: Group Chats in ChatGPT.

Now, you can bring your friends, coworkers, classmates and ChatGPT into the same conversation — planning trips, debating ideas, drafting documents, or making group decisions together.

Group chats let you drop ChatGPT right into real conversations. Think:

  • Planning a weekend trip with friends

  • Creating a shared itinerary, packing list, or comparison of destinations

  • Designing a garden or apartment layout with your partner

  • Finding a restaurant that fits everyone’s tastes

  • Settling debates with an impartial AI referee

  • Drafting outlines or researching topics as a team

ChatGPT sticks to context, helps organize information, and joins in only when it makes sense.

💬 How It Works: Starting or joining a group chat is simple. Just tap the people icon in any conversation, then add people manually or invite them via a shareable link (1–20 people). ChatGPT makes a copy of any existing chat, so your private history stays private

You’ll set a name, username, and profile photo so others know who’s talking, and group chats appear in a dedicated sidebar section

ChatGPT chooses the best model based on:

  • your plan (Free, Go, Plus, Pro)

  • your prompt

  • available tools (search, file upload, images, dictation, etc.)

Only ChatGPT’s responses count toward rate limits — messages between humans are unlimited.

🗣️ Smarter Social Behavior for Group Dynamics

ChatGPT has been taught how to “behave” in a group chat:

  • It decides when to respond and when to stay quiet

  • You can @mention “ChatGPT” to force a reply

  • It can react to messages with emojis

  • It can reference users’ profile photos

    • (e.g., generating fun group images using your photos)

You can also set custom instructions per group — tone, style, rules, or how much context ChatGPT should provide.

🔒 Privacy & Control by Design

OpenAI is taking a clear stance here:

  • Your private memory is never shared

  • ChatGPT will not create new memories from group chats

  • More granular memory controls may come later

  • You must accept an invite before joining

  • Everyone can see who’s in the chat

  • Members can remove others (except the creator)

Swedish “vibe-coding” unicorn Lovable just pulled off another wild milestone:  $200M ARR — doubling revenue in just four months. And according to CEO Anton Osika, the secret wasn’t Silicon Valley… it was not moving there.

Speaking onstage at Slush 2025 in Helsinki, Osika said ignoring early pressure to relocate to the U.S. ended up being the company’s biggest competitive advantage.

🧠 Why Staying in Europe Worked

Osika says the European AI market moves slower — and that’s exactly what helped Lovable win.

Key reasons he gave:

  • Europe’s pace = strategic breathing room: Less hype → more focus → more deliberate product building.

  • Access to global talent: Top engineers from Notion, Gusto, and other Silicon Valley companies have relocated to Stockholm to work in person.

  • Mission-driven cohesion: A tight team, steep urgency, and strong culture allowed faster iteration than the Valley’s chaos.

His message to founders: “You can build a global AI company from Europe.”

🌐 Community-Powered Growth: Osika repeatedly credited Lovable’s user community — the people actively stress-testing and pushing the product daily.

“They’re breaking some kind of world record right now… that’s what’s powering what we’re doing.”

This aligns with why vibe-coding tools (Lovable, Cursor, etc.) are exploding: The more users they have, the better the product becomes.

📈 Vibe Coding = Hotter Than Ever

The milestone comes during a massive wave of investment and adoption in vibe-coding tools:

  • Just last week, Cursor raised $2.3B at a $29.3B valuation

  • Lovable itself has raised $225M to date

    • Including a $200M Series A in July

    • Led by Accel + 20+ other investors

    • Valuing Lovable at $1.8B

Within just one year, Lovable has become one of Europe’s fastest-growing AI companies.
